- Life insurance
- - lump sum payable on death of the insured due to accident or illness
- Total and permanent disability insurance
- - lump sum payable if the insured is totally and permanently disabled for six months due to sickness or accident and then considered unable to work in any occupation
- Trauma insurance
- - lump sum payable if the insured suffers a major accident or illness as a result of specified medical conditions, but does not die
- Income protection insurance
- - pays a monthly income if the insured is unable to work in their usual occupation as
a result of temporary or permanent disablement following sickness or accident
